JOHN BOLGER - LEAN MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS

John Bolger, founder, and Managing Director of Lean Manufacturing Systems has >30 years of manufacturing experience with a number of Blue-Chip multinational corporations where he has held senior management responsibility for Equipment Maintenance and Continuous Improvement. His practical experience covers electronics, medical device, pharmaceutical, and motor industries. As a member of Lake Region Medical’s Operational Excellence team, John played a pivotal role in leading the company to become the first in Ireland to achieve the prestigious Shingo accreditation in 2012.

John’s reputation and expertise as a lean manufacturing practitioner have seen him present as a keynote speaker at National and International events including The University of Buckingham Lean Conference 2017, Waterford Institute of Technology’s Lean Forum 2018, Reliability Ireland Conference, Cork 2019.

John's passion for the business growth possibilities presented through the effective application of lean tools, systems, and principles has led him to set up his own consultancy where he can use his wealth of practical experience to assist companies along their lean implementation journey. As well as being involved in a number of Lean networks across Ireland, John is a board member of the Irish Centre of Excellence in Robotics Technology (ICERT).
